Terra Luxe was founded in Taichung in 2018 by a group of transportation professionals who shared a simple observation: travelers in Taiwan deserved better vehicle options for exploring the island. Too many rental experiences felt rushed or impersonal. Vehicles were often adequate but not comfortable. Support was functional but not thoughtful.
We set out to create something different. Our focus from the beginning has been on selecting vehicles that are pleasant to drive and maintain them to a standard we'd expect ourselves. Each car in our fleet is inspected before rental, detailed inside and out, and equipped with GPS navigation in English and Chinese. We don't just hand over keys; we take time to understand your travel plans and offer route suggestions based on years of local knowledge.
Our location in Taichung puts us at the heart of Taiwan's cultural corridor, with easy access to mountain tea plantations, bamboo forests, and the artistic neighborhoods of both Taichung and Taipei. Over the years, we've supported artists on residency programs, corporate teams on extended projects, and countless travelers discovering Taiwan for the first time. What these clients have in common is a preference for quality over speed, and attention to detail over transaction efficiency.
Today, our fleet includes sedans, crossovers, and SUVs selected for comfort and reliability. We offer flexible rental periods from single days to full weeks, with delivery and collection services throughout central and northern Taiwan. Every rental includes comprehensive insurance, bilingual support, and the kind of unhurried service that allows you to focus on your journey rather than logistics.
Our mission remains unchanged: to provide well-maintained vehicles and thoughtful support for travelers who want to experience Taiwan at their own pace.
